What does a 45 foot whale in the middle of Colombo mean?

It means we still care. 💙

On World Ocean Day, we built the largest 3D whale mural the city has ever seen, in collaboration with The Pearl Protectors to honour the gentle giants of our seas and remind everyone of the urgent need to protect them.

This project means so much to me. A few years ago, we built a turtle. This year, we brought a whale to life, majestic, silent, and powerful. Just like the real ones who glide through our waters, hoping we let them be.

Big love to Colombo City Centre for supporting such a meaningful cause and for giving us the space to turn this vision into something unforgettable.

This year, we had the honor of designing the Christmas decor for ITC Colombo as they celebrated their very first Christmas. It was truly special to be part of such a milestone for this beautiful hotel.What made the experience even more memorable was the warmth and hospitality of the ITC team, who made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Thank you, ITC Colombo, for trusting us with your first Christmas. Here’s to many more magical moments together!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Events By Shero who is the mastermind behind the mega turtle mural which was on display at One Galle Face during the World Oceans Day Exhibition 2023.

Shero and her team dedicated three weeks towards designing the mural where we used the nets we collected from Thilip Reef in Trincomalee to lay around the mural to depict the threat posed by ghost fishing nets on our marine environment.

We were able to show what we saw underwater to the public through the power of art.
