Let's talk about liberalism! 👋

👉Ever heard misconceptions that liberalism is unprincipled, against religion, or just for the rich? The sources suggest that to truly understand liberalism, we should look at its core **values**, not just facts or public proposals. Values, unlike facts, tell us how the world ought to be and what we stand for.

🔴Liberalism is a "big tent" with various traditions, but they all unite behind one common value: **liberty**.

💪At its core, liberalism puts the **individual** at the center. Liberals are also skeptical of **power** and rely on the **rule of law** to limit it. Because people disagree on fundamental issues like religion and justice, **tolerance** is crucial. Peaceful dialogue and voluntary action are also valued. Finally, liberals expect individuals to take **responsibility** for themselves and their communities.

🙏These eight values are presented as the universal basis of liberalism. **They are all necessary and part of the same package** – it's not a "pick and choose" ideology.

This exploration isn't meant to convert anyone, but to help **debunk misconceptions** and foster a deeper understanding of liberalism through its values.
