Introducing our third judge for Cake Con 2020. Pedro León is a multiple time medalist & an award-winning cake artist from France. He ranked among the top ten Cake Artists in France. Born in Venezuela, lawyer by profession, nothing predestined Pedro León to become a Cake Designer ... except the strong artistic fiber he was endowed from a young age!
In 2012, he found a passion and a real gift for creative pastry. Self taught at the beginning and then mentored by the finest pastry, chocolate and cake design greatest names in the world, Pedro now is a reference in the sector and his brand Lion’s Cakes has thousands of followers around the world. He is known for his huge tier cakes populated with funny little characters.
Recently, he could be seen as a contestant in “Le Meilleur Pâtissier Professionnel” (French version of “Bake Off: The Professionals).
He is an Ambassador for “SARACINO”
His tutorial have been featured in Cake Masters magazine and his work was featured in the front cover in the cake masters magazine. He has won multiple awards in cake competitions around Europe;
