ENZO VOOD born as Sameera, is one of the most respected DJs in Sri Lanka. Born in 90's and raised in Colombo, the heart of Sri Lanka he found early influence and refuge in the local electronic rave scene. First easing into the industry as a mobile DJ he steadily made a reputation and name as DJ Sameer. All due to his charismatic approach, fine-tune selection and as one ahead of time. Having steadily built a crowd and following he took over many residencies of well known night clubs in Sri Lanka.
As a turning point of his path, after a decade as a DJ he decided to give a fresh start to his career in the beginning of 2017. One known for being ahead of time he soon understood the potential of having alias projects and thus ENZO VOOD was born.
Now, in such a short span into the persona in the electronic dance music industry, ENZO VOOD boasts an extensive repertoire of gigs, festivals and tours across the world. With his eclectic selection inspired by electronic dance music genres Techno, Melodic House, progressive house and its sub-genres he has emerged as one of srilanka's most sort after DJ's in the underground music scene.
Having started his debut International tour in GOA, India with a 3 gig tour ENZO VOOD was soon extensively found to be an untouchable force to reckon with. Many a time opening stage for internationally respected artists and musicians, such as Guy J, Stan Kolev, The Yellowheads, Mendy Indigo, Praveen Achary, Tejas Belkond and the Sri Lankans' homegrown artist Subandrio, Ben Coda, Priya Sen and many more.
As a Frequent invitee on FM radio show's across the world ENZO VOOD has been able to capture a wider audience. Initially starting off with his Mixcloud Podcast "DESTINY" followed up with early support from YES FM Srilanka paved the way to many more guest mixes thereafter.
Having played alongside some of the well reputed DJ's in the country as well as international artists, with a consistent fanbase and ever-growing crowd he soon ventured into Event management in the form of 'Heaven's Gate'. As Co-Founder of one of the largest event management companies in SriLanka, 'Heaven's Gate (Pvt) Ltd has contributed, helped develop and uplift the underground and electronic music industry on the island.
Within a relatively short span of time, ENZO VOOD has transpired as a gentle force to reckon with.
