Kani Salad

🥗Salad Ingredients:

8 crab sticks shredded into thin strips
1 thinly sliced cucumber
1 thinly sliced carrot
Avocado (optional)

😋Salad Dressing:

3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
½ teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoons honey (or sugar)
1 teaspoon any hot sauce. Omit if you don't like spicy food)
1 teaspoon sesame seeds if available

Mix the dressing ingredients together well, pour over the prepared salad and let sit for at least 30 minutes for flavors to blend.

Easy Peasy Apple Cake
(No eggs, optional no dairy)

*Base ingredients for a vanilla flavor cake:

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp White vinegar
5 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 Cup Water or Milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla 

Preheat your oven to 170C, middle rack.

Prepare your pan with baking spray or a baking paper at the bottom after buttering and flouring it.

**To make an apple cake add to the above  

1 tsp cinnamon

And

Cut 1 medium apple into chunks and mix in a bowl with 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 flour. **Set aside. We add this at the end.

To make the cake:

Put all your dry ingredients in a bow. Mix all your wet ingredients except for the vinegar. 

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix very well. In the end add your vinegar. 

**If you are making apple cake now is the time to add the Apple mixture.

Pour the batter in your pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
