On behalf of our team, we want to publically apologize to everyone who attended the Ice Breaker event on Sunday, March 8th. We hold full responsibility for the event's outcome.
As an events-planning team, Mosaik Events has been organizing exceptional events since 2015. Our job is to choose a location, plan the DJ sets, arrange the ticketing, and deliver quality service. Additionally, this year marks the 5th anniversary of our Ice Breaker event, and we hoped to present another remarkable experience accompanied by fantastic music in a top-notch venue. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
We understand your concerns about the safety of the transportation means. The chosen venue uses snowcat lifts regularly with a safe and maximum capacity of 15-20 people on each ride.
To be completely clear, we were promised three snowcat lifts, each carrying 15-20 people and fully functioning by 11 AM. That did not happen as only one snowcat lift was operating until 3 PM. By then, people were breaking barriers and jumping on the lifts. These actions are entirely understandable, as people had been waiting for more than an hour to get to the event.
