A new space is emerging in the center of Hamra, Beirut, focused exclusively on photography. On the corner of Malek Batata, next to Crown Plaza Hotel, “The Photography Venue” has been created, comprised of a fully equipped studio, as well as room for photography seminars, videography, presentations and workshops. Our ambition is to create a space that will become a reference and meeting point for a

nyone interested in photography. The Photography Venue aims to be a living, breathing art space. Towards this end, we organize regular events centered around photography, including discussions, lectures, video projections, “meet the photographer” nights and book signings, etc...

We are open to any and all suggestions for collaboration with other photography groups or individuals and the space is also available for rent for third-party events.


هي فسحة جديدة تبصر النور في وسط الحمرا، وتركّز على التصوير الفوتوغرافي حصرياً. هناك، في الزاوية خلف "ملك البطاطا"، وبالقرب من فندق "كراون بلازا"، تأسّس "استديو التصوير الفوتوغرافي" كاستديو مجهّز بمختلف المعدّات، مع غرفة رديفة لعقد ندوات حول التصوير الفوتوغرافي، وعرض شرائط مسجّلة من الصور، وتقديم عروض وورش عمل.
طموحنا هو إنشاء فسحة تكون هي المرجع والملتقى لكلّ من يبدي اهتماماً بموضوع التصوير الفوتوغرافي.

بالفعل، يُقصد باستديو التصوير الفوتوغرافي أن يكون مساحةً فنية تفاعلية، ونابضة بالحياة.
لذا، ينظّم الاستديو اجتماعات دورية تُعنى بالتصوير الفوتوغرافي في المقام الأول، وتقوم على مجموعة من النقاشات والمحاضرات وعروضات لشرائط تسجيلية ولقاءات مع مصوّرين وتواقيع كتب وغير ذلك.

بابنا مفتوح لأيّ اقتراح بالتعاون والتنسيق مع مجموعات أخرى وأفراد آخرين متخصّصين بالتصوير الفوتوغرافي. ونشير أيضاً إلى أنّ هذه المساحة متوفّرة للإيجار من قبل طرف ثالث لعقد اجتماعات ذات طبيعة مختلفة
