This is how we started our summer. Unsure of what the season would look like, and with Zaid being the first to take the leap and come to Lebanon in uncertain times. Then the others followed, to KED and to other venues across the scene.
This video is a little documentation of what goes into it all. The passion, the crew, the preparations, the side conversations, the chaos, the long hours, and that feeling after every event when people leave a little lighter, recharged and happy. That’s the bit that makes it worth it.
And just like that, we say goodbye to summer, rooftop season, the humidity and the open sky (honestly, nothing beats it).
Back indoors now. Time to contain the energy, take a breath, and look back at the season. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
The lessons were plenty. More than we expected, if we’re being honest.
We know the locals are tired. The artists are tired. The scene is tired. Everyone’s dealing with their own plate, and somewhere along the way, even the things we love can start to feel repetitive.
But we’re still here, still figuring it out, still making space for music, people, and the moments that remind us why we do this in the first place.
Summer, you were a lot. 🖤
