Mise en Place Cayman Islands Mise en Place has been catering Cayman’s most memorable events for 20 years. The literal translation is “set in place”.

About our name – Mise en Place (pronounced “meez on plahss”) is a French culinary term that refers to the organization and preparation of all ingredients and equipment to be used in cooking or serving food. It was a phrase that MEP founder and managing director Sean Collins heard countless times while studying at Johnson and Wales College of Food Innovation and Technology in the USA.

✨ Mise en Place was proud to sponsor the 4th year of YYY Cayman Islands 2025 celebrating hospitality as a career, a profession, and a vocation.

As part of World YYY, a global competition for young Chefs, Waiters, and Mixologists, the Cayman Islands event shone a spotlight on local talent, skill, and creativity. ⭐️

We were honoured to host an exclusive launch soirée with esteemed guests, featuring locally inspired cocktails and bites 🥂

It was inspiring to watch 9 incredibly talented Caymanian chefs, waiters, and mixologists compete for the crown under the guidance of judges, including our very own Sean Collins (Chef Judge) and Angelique Collins (Waiter Judge).
