It was truly a pleasure creating the welcome area and welcome desk for Nadia & Mohammed’s wedding at Araya Ballroom on January 9th, 2026, with approximately 400 guests. Working with Nadia, her mother Duna, and the entire family was an absolute joy, and what made this night so special was the beautiful blend of backgrounds — Kuwaiti, Palestinian, and Syrian — coming together in a way that felt natural, warm, and cohesive. From the music to the food, and the thoughtful nods to tradition, including both the Palestinian Zaffa and Kuwaiti Zaffa for the bride and groom entrances, the entire evening felt like a true celebration of family and culture without ever feeling divided or overly “themed.” Nadia’s vision from the beginning was very clear: she didn’t want the event to feel staged or overly produced, but rather like you were walking into somewhere cozy and welcoming — almost like entering someone’s home, just elevated and lush. We designed the florals to feel sculptural yet organic, with deep, warm tones and arrangements that felt rich and different than the usual, while still keeping everything soft, inviting, and effortless. A night we won’t forget. .photokwt
