Miguna Miguna Accuses Sifuna of Hypocrisy Over ODM’s Partnership With Ruto
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has criticised Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over his political stance on ODM and the party’s partnership with President William Ruto’s UDA administration.
In a strongly worded statement, Miguna said the late Raila Odinga died while ODM was in partnership with Ruto’s administration, a political arrangement he claims to have consistently opposed and previously described as the “Blood-Based Partnership.”
Miguna argued that anyone claiming to be Raila’s disciple while opposing ODM and the partnership that existed at the time of Raila’s death must account for their political position.
He further questioned the integrity and leadership credentials of individuals who remained in ODM after the partnership was formed, insisting that political principles should be demonstrated through consistent actions rather than public declarations.
Miguna called for greater accountability in Kenyan politics, condemning what he described as hypocrisy, double-speak and opportunistic political behaviour.
His remarks add to the growing political debate surrounding ODM’s direction, Sifuna’s position within the party and the future of opposition politics ahead of the 2027 General Election.
