My books include "The Girl from America," "The Sins of Names," "The Puppet Protocol," "Stealing The Vote," "Bits of My Life," & many more! I am a storyteller at my core, driven to redefine modern African narratives through literature and film.
My journey as a published author began in 2011 with my debut, "Bits of My Life." Since then, my work has grown into a diverse collection, from enchanting
children's books in both Swahili ("Kisa cha Mzee Kofi," "Pendo Amepotea") and English ("Kipepeo and the Butterflies") to the globally recognized novel, "The Girl from America." My passion lies in crafting high-stakes political thrillers like "The Sins of Names"—honored with a foreword by the esteemed Professor P.L.O. Lumumba—and "The Puppet Protocol," which dive into the authentic battle for the soul of a nation.
I am continually humbled by the cross-disciplinary impact of my work, notably when my insights were quoted by Chartered Scientist Hugh Graham in his UK publication, "Bloody Blood Groups," a testament to the universal resonance of powerful storytelling.
This drive extends to my role as the Founder of Starletz Theatre & Books, a pioneering publishing house and filmmaking service. We are a formidable force dedicated to championing the next generation of literary talent. Through Starletz, we have proudly published tens of books from diverse authors, including celebrated voices like Kenya's Teacher of the Year (TOYA) Award Winner.
My Mission: To build a robust platform for authentic African stories that captivate and challenge a global audience.
