Rapedhi SDA Church in Ndhiwa Constituency, Homa Bay County one of the earliest pillars of Adventism in Kenya, second only to Gendia (established in 1906) and dating back to 1911 stands as a powerful symbol of faith and heritage.
On this blessed Sabbath, congregants, guests, and leaders including Raymond Omollo, MPs Hon. Martin Owino (Ndhiwa), Hon. Phelix 'Jalang'o' Odiwuor (Lang'ata) Jalango and Hon. Millie Odhiambo (Suba North) alongside other leaders and MCAs, gathered not only for worship but also for a meaningful fundraising drive toward the construction of a modern, bigger, and better sanctuary.
The day reflected more than a church service it embodied a deep sense of friendship, loyalty, and shared purpose.
Our own CEO Charyl-Ann Aseno ‘Nyar Jopuonj,’ who was raised in this very church was one of the organisers for this fundraiser and we're glad the community came together in unity and joy.
The Harambee was vibrant, colorful, and truly successful marking another step forward in faith, unity, and development.
