Some encouragement!!
BREAK LIMITATIONS
In 2005, they beat the world record for top speed at 408 km/h.
In 2010, they beat their own top speed in a Guinness world record at
415 km/h.
Six years later, they wanted to beat that impossible world record again.
The unveiling of a gobsmacking piece of carbon fiber construction with visual cues borrowed from futuristic ideas was just breathtaking.
It happened at the 2016 Geneva motor show - the World Beauty Pageant of cars.
Wolfgang Durheimer, the soft-spoken president stood next to the quintessential super sports car and said, "We have made the best even better".
The Bugatti Veyron was bowing to its new successor, the Bugatti Chiron. The world's most powerful, fastest production car ever built.
The Bugatti President said, they wanted to run 100 meters faster than ever before, fly even further into space and enter new realms.
Well, the Bugatti Chiron entered the realm of 420 km/h and I see the fourth record in the offing.
A monumental feat was achieved by engineers who crossed the boundaries and dared to set new records and produce a supercar whose performance tested the limits of physics.
Do you want to achieve something monumental?
Do you want to break records?
Do you want to cross boundaries and human limitation?
The thing about this car, well, any beautiful car is that you see it's allure - the paint and curves but don't really see what happens behind the scenes. You don't see the moving parts. Everything is covered under the hood.
It's easy to admire the Bugatti. The first time I saw it on Oxford Street in London, it was jaw-droppingly stunning. We have all seen Bugattis in life. Perhaps not the car, but we luxuriate in the ingenuity of how the end product of something/someone looks like. We admire other people and their success stories but don't really understand the process that got them there. We love to follow, copy, imitate, but don't know what drives them.
Just because a vehicle has wheels doesn't mean it's a mean machine. It's not the size and the look of the car but the performance and the engine that runs it.
Mark Twain once said, 'It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog'.
1 John 4:4 puts it better of course, 'You are of God, little children and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world'.
God is the engine they can't see in you but once you put that foot on the pedal, you are unstoppable, you are unbeatable and you are unshakeable.
He will supersede human limitations and take you off on a wondrous journey where your best will become better.
You may look small, come from a small family, have small grades, have a small job, a small business but that doesn't mean anything. The big God in you can move you faster than a million Bugatti's put together.
His top speed cannot be measured; He will break your speed gauge. Your limitations, frailties, shortcomings, weaknesses, and boundaries.
His break horsepower cannot be contained; He will melt your mountains like wax.
Don't despise yourself and the agility of your mind to achieve the impossible. You don't need a sentence; you just need a word.
Activate the word by pushing the engine button and let God thunder in you.
