They truly owned the runway, every single model, celebrating creativity through upcycled fashion on the No New Clothes Runway by amazing designers from , , , and across , championing sustainability in a bold, beautiful way.

As Belinda, Co-founder of , perfectly put it:
“It’s not about having something new every time. It’s about being in a room where repeating an outfit is celebrated as the in thing.”

The show was a sight to behold, vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring. The runway welcomed everyone including persons with disabilities, reflecting the true spirit of conscious fashion and community.

We were proud to play our small part in supporting this initiative and left even more inspired to keep championing sustainable events and collaborations in the future

And just like that, the week comes to a close!

What an incredible journey it has been — five days of powerful conversations, collaboration, and commitment towards strengthening weather and climate information services across the region.

As the officially engaged event planner, we're truly proud to have supported this impactful workshop from start to finish — and now, as we wrap up, our final mission is ensuring all guests get to the airport safely and fly back home with great memories of an inspiring week.

Day 1 kicked off with strong resolve and renewed commitments.
The day began with registration and keynote speeches, followed by the official opening of the workshop by the Director. Participants then shared insights and experiences from across the region — including Kenya, Uganda, DRC, Burundi, Djibouti, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, and several other countries supporting the workshop.
