The session 'Click, Confirm, Attend: The Art of Flawless Event Registration' discussed the intricacies of event registration, highlighting the critical role it plays in the attendee journey.
The speakers emphasised that registration is the first step in the event experience and hence,
requires meticulous planning and ex*****on.
1. Meticulous planning is crucial for successful event registration.
The speakers emphasized the importance of scoping out the project correctly from the start to avoid project creep and ensure that all necessary pathways and data are accounted for. By prioritizing hands-on access to data and maintaining a seamless branding experience, organizers can reduce noise once the registration is launched and improve the overall attendee experience.
2. Integrations are key to effective data management.
The session highlighted the need for integrating registration data with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics to maintain a single source of truth and reduce manual data handling. Planning for integrations at the beginning of the project ensures smooth data transfer and avoids complications, making the registration process more efficient and compliant.
3. AI and digital ID systems could revolutionize event registration.
The speakers speculated on future advancements where registration forms are filled out
automatically through biometric scans and government ID verifications. This could
