Let’s talk about flower food ✨
• If you’re a subscriber or have received gifts from us then you’ve also received one of these little red packets they come with.
• Flower food mostly contains sugar, a little citric acid and a tiny bit of bleach all carefully blended to perform specific functions adding about 3 more days to your roses lifespan ☑️
• But did you know you can overdose or under-dose your flowers with flower food 😷
• Overdosing happens when you put twice the recommended dose for the amount of water in the vase. It will likely lead to stems discoloring and leaves looking burnt 🍂
• Under-dosing on the other hand will lead to the least favorable outcome for your cut flowers. It may delay their blooming, the stems may become limp and the leaves discolor🥀
• So what’s the right amount? We recommend using 1 liter of clean, distilled water for every sachet. Cut at least 2cm off the stems at a 45-degree angle to allow the roses to feed. 🌷🌷
• You can separate the water into different vases as you desire
So in conclusion, one sachet is enough 😁 Dm to start your new lifestyle journey of caring for roses today!
