Just opened Facebook to find a memory from 7yrs ago a day like today. This was my first ever venture in curating gatherings. Was alongside Jean & Patrick Mnene sound and gear we hired from CAPTAIN DJ PHAUZ , location was The Terrace Art Space

… Anyway, we only had 1 attendee, YES ONLY 1 ATENDEE, as in only 1 person attended,ticket was 300bob. He was on vacation in Kilifi and was looking for an Afrohouse party. So we did Afrohouse sets for 6 hours to the staff, Mr. David and ourselves .. As he was leaving he came to us and said, “Your passion for what you’re doing is out of this world. Please never give up, you will thank yourselves one day.” And he went. I kept contact with Davie and man thanks to you Davie of Versatile Photographers I never gave in.

We’re now at WIRA 😎 and it keeps on getting better ✨🚀✨
