年代不明ながら、1960後半-70年頃と思しきVictor企画のコンピレーション。羽の生えたストリングスやハモンドオルガン、ハープやフルートたちの先導の下、常夏気分のスティールギターが手を引いて連れて行ってくれる、穏やかで暖かい大海原の前に本当にホッとします。

Although the date is unknown, this compilation was produced by Victor and appears to have been produced in the late 1960s or 1970s. Led by feathery strings, Hammond organ, harp, and flute, the steel guitar takes you by the hand, transporting you to a warm, tranquil ocean.

1999-2000年にかけて、世紀末の日本で躍動した国産Drum n Bassレーベル” Phonixx Records”の12inch 3種がデッドストックで発掘されました。
95’に渡英しDrum n Bassの風を現地で浴びたDJ Geetek。TEI TOWAの元アシスタントTSUKADAと抜群の現場感を誇ったAKIRA IMAIによるユニットTOPLESS。リズムフリークスのHATCHとマニアックラブなど活動したMASEの共作。の3種です。シールドを開封いただいても構いませんので、25年の時を経て我々の先輩達入魂の12inchをぜひ聴いてみてください。

We've unearthed three deadstock 12inch records from Phonixx Records, a Drum n Bass label that flourished in Japan at the turn of the century from 1999 to 2000.

DJ Geetek, who traveled to the UK in the '95s and got a taste of Drum n Bass there; TOPLESS, a unit formed by TEI TOWA's former assistant TSUKADA and AKIRA IMAI, who boasted an outstanding live feel; and a collaboration between HATCH of Rhythm Freaks and MASE, who was active in Mania Club and other venues. You are welcome to open the shields, so please take a listen to these 12-inch records, the work of our predecessors, 25 years on.

PAやビートメイカーとして活動するEMB NAKAMURAが2018年から続けてきたイベント”Stone age”の一つの結実として制作した、大西正氏の路上写真とAbstract Beatのセッションアルバム。音の空間的な側面からも、メロディ、リズム側からも、天地左右前後の時間性だけでは紐付けられない、純粋な時間の連続性の彼方が、鈍く発色しながら少しずつこちらへ迫ってくる音像17曲。

This session album features street photography by Tadashi Onishi and Abstract Beats, produced as a culmination of the "Stone age" event that EMB NAKAMURA, who works as a PA and beatmaker, has been running since 2018. From the spatial aspects of the sound, melody and rhythm, it cannot be linked simply to the temporality of up and down, left and right, front and back, but rather, the 17 tracks are sound images that emerge gradually, dully colored, from beyond the pure continuity of time.
