Each year I host a friendly gathering at home with my friends & loved ones sharing my love for Mexican food. 🌮 It has been an honor & journey feeding you all with good food, great vibes & immaculate company.

This year, we will be more intentional.

Hosting “Agave Garden” right in my backyard. With music entertainment, signature tequila cocktails, more food, and a soft launch for my upcoming partnership to bring my food directly to you with .

It’s okay to be still -
Being an overachiever somehow comes with the price of feeling like your under performing once the achieving comes to a halt.
Maybe it’s the Caribbean in me
When I was young and I’d say “I’m bored” and your parent would respond “you pick up a book from morning?”
All time spent in idle gives me guilt.
How dare you have “nothing” to do?
How dare you relax, when the world is out there to conquer?

But one thing I’ve prayed for myself during this season of transition is Grace.
To allow myself the grace to change my mind, to rest, to do things differently
Grace to regroup, and regather
To pivot, and find the capacity to allow space for new ideas.

Idle doesn’t mean lazy.
And doing “nothing” is a lot of something.

Thank you to the friends who consistently check in with me as I mentally torture myself through the pressure to consistently do the absolute most!

Here’s a day in my life, when stillness is a required priority. Without Guilt. Because what’s the point of working so hard, if you never get to rest?

I almost forgot, this was the whole point.
