🌳✨ Protecting What Matters at Butterfield Dreaming Trees ✨🌳

As we prepare to light up Howard Davis Park, we wanted to let you know a few trees on the trail will not be illuminated this year — and that’s intentional!

Some areas will remain in natural darkness to help protect nesting birds, squirrels and other wildlife that call the park home. 🌙🦉

Dreaming Trees is about celebrating nature, not overpowering it. By leaving certain trees undisturbed, we’re making sure the magic of light sits gently alongside the natural rhythm of the park.

You may notice these quieter, darker pockets as you walk the trail, think of them as breathing spaces for both wildlife and visitors alike.

It’s not all sparkle and lights you know… sometimes the magic needs a little muscle 💪

Huge thanks to the brilliant team at AAA TREE SERVICES who quite literally climbed to new heights today to place and secure one of our mirror balls high up in the canopy! 🪩🌲

When you’re installing lighting in real, living trees at Howard Davis Park, it takes proper skill and care to keep everything safe while still looking spectacular and these guys absolutely delivered.

The wait is nearly over… Butterfield’s Dreaming Trees returns to light up Howard Davis Park from Saturday night, and we cannot wait to welcome you back into the magic.

Step into a world of immersive light and sound, perfect for families, couples, friends and anyone who loves a little winter wonder. 💫

🧣 Wrap up warm! It’s an outdoor experience, so coats, hats and gloves are highly recommended.
