No matter how mighty, even the greatest lion eventually faces a humbling end. That’s the reality of life.

Some die young, their lives cut short by wounds sustained while fiercely protecting their pride. Others live long, only to be worn down by age. In their prime, they are kings — ruling the land, chasing prey, devouring their catch, and leaving only scraps for the hyenas. But time moves quickly.

An old lion loses the strength to hunt, the power to fight, and the speed to escape danger. It wanders, roaring into the wind, until fate catches up. When it can no longer defend itself, the very scavengers it once scorned circle back. The hyenas close in, not waiting for death to claim the lion — they tear it apart while it still breathes.

Life is fleeting. Power fades. We’ve seen it happen in people. If we live long enough, vulnerability will come for us all.

So let us remain humble. Show compassion to the sick, the weak, and the aging. And always remember: we all will leave the stage one day.

5-3 winners with a brace from Luís Vieira and Emil Burcacel plus a single from Roberto da Silveira.
A very tough game as expected but very proud of the team behaviour throughout this match.

Still being doubted as the Best ever footballer.

A very hard fought draw against the newcomers St. Ouens filled with quality players.
