Today, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Simon Crowcroft for his many years of dedicated service to Jersey and for the friendship, kindness and support he has always shown to the Portuguese community.
Over the years, Simon has been a valued supporter of community events and has always shown a genuine appreciation for Portuguese culture, traditions and, in particular, Portuguese Fado music. His encouragement, friendship and presence at many events have been greatly appreciated by our community.
We would also like to thank Simon for the generosity and hospitality he kindly showed to the Luso Events Jersey family last week. It was a thoughtful gesture and one that reflects the warmth and kindness for which he is so well known.
As he begins a new chapter, we wish him good health, happiness and every success for the future. We also hope he enjoys the well-deserved holiday he recently told us about and takes the opportunity to relax after so many years of dedicated public service.

We would also like to congratulate Inna Gardiner on her election as the new Constable of St Helier and wish her every success in her new role. We look forward to seeing her continue to serve and support our parish and wider community.
