Running for Diabetes Jersey - Connor Muirhead 👏

Connor is running the marathon this Sunday and supporting Diabetes Jersey, read his story below. 🏃‍♂️

"Since being diagnosed as a child with Type 1 Diabetes, the charity has been very supportive to both myself and my family.

Looking back over the years, Diabetes Jersey helped me in so many ways to cope with accepting the condition and to deal with it in a pragmatic way. Their determination in the funding of technological support, through to the provision of a peer support group and events for children has been of tremendous benefit to me.

I am running the Marathon in order to raise funds for the charity as a 'thank you, ' and in particular, to acknowledge the wonderful support provided to me by Liz Freeman.
