One of the sweetest pauses of Tania and Angel’s elopement in Sicily came during a stop at a local bar for a traditional Sicilian granita. The bride and groom sat at a small table, tasting lemon, almond, and pistachio, the classic Sicilian flavors, while locals and tourists smiled, some stopping to take a photo of the radiant couple. All were saying “Auguri” which means “Congratulations” in Italian. It was one of the most romantic moments of the day
