A lot of you are probably wondering where I’ve been!

The last couple months have been absolutely wild, but packed with some of the most incredible moments of my life. I took a much-needed break to cherish time with my little one.

Meanwhile, I've been working diligently behind the scenes with clients! When I launched my business, it was my passion project, my pride and joy. As most of your know, I care deeply about my clients, almost as much as I care about my own family. Taking a break was tough, but it was exactly the reset I needed.

Though things might look a bit different moving forward, I'm thrilled to continue collaborating with my couples!!

I am Ally, the owner and planner behind Knot Common Events. I was born and raised in North Carolina and grew up southeast of Greensboro, NC. I recently married my high school sweetheart in January 2021. Planning is my passion. I have always been extremely organized and love a good itinerary or plan. While my friends were watching the Disney Channel, I was watching “Say Yes to the Dress”, “David Tutera Celebrations” and buying wedding magazines. I was able to tailor my college education at Appalachian State University to help make my dream of becoming a wedding and event planner a reality. My favorite part of wedding planning is seeing every detail fall into place and helping couples enjoy a stress free planning experience. When I am not planning weddings I enjoy eating Mexican food, drinking Dr.Pepper, spending time with family and friends, and traveling!
