L'atelier è felice di annunciarvi che i costumi dello spettacolo "La V***e Rusée" (La vedova astuta) a Les Bouffes Parisiens, in scena dal 10 settembre 2024, sono stati ideatie realizzati proprio da Stefano Nicolao e dall'Atelier.
Rappresentata per la prima volta a Venezia nel 1748, la commedia del commediografo italiano Carlo Goldoni continua a stupire e a divertire!
La storia racconta di Rosaura, giovane, bella e ricca vedova veneziana, che incontra quattro pretendenti di diverse nazionalità: Milord Runebif (inglese), Monsieur Le Blau (francese), Don Alvaro de Castille (spagnolo) e il Conte Bosco Nero (italiano). Ognuno di loro la corteggia attraverso il malizioso Arlecchino. Ma Rosaura è indecisa.
Con l'aiuto della sua dama di compagnia Marionnette, escogita uno stratagemma per fare la sua scelta.
Una commedia pura, un'opera di compagnia, un'avventura avvincente e molto altro ancora... ma, soprattutto, è la storia di una donna che sogna e lotta per la propria libertà, perché è lei a dettare le regole!

The atelier is happy to announce that the costumes for the play “La V***e Rusée” (The Cunning Widow) at Les Bouffes Parisiens, on stage from September 10, 2024, were created and made by Stefano Nicolao and our Atelier.
First performed in Venice in 1748, the play by Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni continues to amaze and entertain!
The story tells of Rosaura, a young, beautiful and wealthy Venetian widow, who meets four suitors of different nationalities: Milord Runebif (English), Monsieur Le Blau (French), Don Alvaro de Castille (Spanish) and Count Bosco Nero (Italian). Each of them woos her through the mischievous Harlequin. But Rosaura is undecided.
With the help of her lady-in-waiting Marionnette, she devises a ruse to make her choice.
A pure comedy, a companion play, a gripping adventure and much more... but, above all, it is the story of a woman who dreams and fights for her freedom, because she is the one who dictates the rules!
