Ya know when you stare at a thing long enough and it starts to lose meaning? That’s what happens when I paint so to redirect my brain I look at the painting from different vantage points. In a mirror. Upside down. From harsh angles. From down the hall.

We are so lucky to have great artists in our lives. These fantastic senior year photos of Henry were taken by Sarah Moore at Lowthorpe Meadow in Norwichtown. Not only is she a great photographer, she is contagiously happy and fun bringing out the best in her subjects! Thank you so much Sarah!!

Work in progress. Maybe an additional week or so of work on this painting. It’s oil on canvas and is a part of “Emanation.” The layers of Jacquelyn’s movement reference the similarities of different people who have lived in the same space throughout the history of that space.
