The Karavai opens the ritual with a blessing of love, unity and prosperity.

Then comes the rushnyk.

This traditional Ukrainian embroidered cloth marks the threshold between two lives and the beginning of a shared path.

Its patterns carry wishes of protection, happiness and continuity, connecting the newlyweds to their families and to the generations who came before them.

The couple steps onto it together, although tradition adds a playful prediction: whoever places a foot on the rushnyk first is said to take the leading role in the marriage.

A small moment that made everyone smile, yet one filled with history, identity and belonging.

Some weddings have witnesses more important than anyone else in the room: the children.

In this one, I watched them walk their parents down the aisle, the daughter beside her mother, the son beside his father. A gesture that needed no explanation. Inside it were the years they had shared, the family they had built, the love that keeps growing.

For me, this is the heart of a truly personal celebration: every choice belongs to the people living it, while Italy becomes the backdrop where their story keeps writing itself.

Quando due persone si uniscono, si incontrano due storie, due famiglie e due modi diversi di amare la vita.
Il mio lavoro le fa dialogare con gusto e misura, finché ogni dettaglio inizia a parlare di voi.
Con quell'eleganza che resta nel tempo, discreta e sicura.

Il matrimonio più riuscito è quello che fa pensare a chi vi conosce: "sono proprio loro".

Have you ever actually seen a trabocco?
And more importantly… have you ever walked on one?

Because from here, you don’t just look at the sea.
You feel it beneath your feet, you hear it while talking, while toasting, while the evening slowly comes to life.

This time, it became the setting for an intimate anniversary designed for an American guest. One long table suspended above the Adriatic Sea, a few people, warm lights and that feeling only certain places are able to create.

That’s exactly what I love about trabocchi:
they feel like stories you get to step into for one night.

And yes… you can actually celebrate here

Ma lo hai mai visto davvero un trabocco?
E soprattutto… ci sei mai salito sopra?

Perché da qui il mare è vero che lo guardi ma
lo senti sotto i piedi, lo ascolti mentre parli, mentre brindi, mentre la serata lentamente prende vita.

Questa volta è diventato il luogo di un anniversario intimo organizzato per un ospite americano. Una tavolata sospesa sull’Adriatico, poche persone, luce calda e quella sensazione difficile da spiegare che solo certi posti riescono a creare.

Ed è proprio questo che amo dei trabocchi:
non sembrano location costruite per eventi.
Sembrano storie in cui puoi entrare per una sera.

E sì… qui si può davvero festeggiare i tuoi momenti più importanti.

There is a place in Emilia Romagna where time seems to have stood still: Villa Coccapani Pignatti Morano, with its Italy never stops surprising you.

A historic estate, layered with memory and beauty, that becomes something else entirely when placed in the right hands and transformed into the scenery of a dream!

What I had the privilege of witnessing and being part of was a "destination wedding planners' "event that did exactly that: took the perfection of an already extraordinary place and made it even more magical, more enchanting, more deeply felt.

This is what the finest professionals in our industry truly do: they don't simply decorate a space, they inhabit it with intention.
