Two weeks ago, we were right in the midst of our .🔥
As every year, it was an adventure full of emotions, but this time, we truly outdid ourselves.
We had it all: police intervention, not one but two blackouts (one of which became the perfect excuse to dance outside under the rising sun), an attempted internal sabotage, the usual share of lost suitcases and records, and that string of small mishaps that add just the right touch of adrenaline to the festival.
(Okay, we did kind of miss the usual public transport strike and the flood threat. 🤭)
Thankfully, you were there with us, with your contagious enthusiasm, vibrant energy, and those ever-ready smiles that made all the effort worth it.
You’ve reminded us how lucky we are to have such a strong, united community behind us. ❤️🔥
So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you:
💛 To all the participants who made this edition possible , you’re truly special and fill our hearts with joy.
🎶 To the artists, for sharing your creativity and talent, making the festival unforgettable.
👩🏻🏫 To the teachers, who inspire, challenge, and help us grow, on and off the dance floor.
👷🏻♀️ To the tireless volunteers, who made everything run smoothly.
🎧 To our sound technicians, who sailed through waves of chaos to keep the music alive.
📸 To our photographer and video maker and , for capturing magical moments we’ll treasure forever.
🏡 To , a.k.a. our Padaria, who welcomed us like family, kept us dancing till dawn (and beyond!), and fed us with love.
🔊 To our little hero, our Bose speaker, savior of many critical moments.
👮♂️ And yes, even to the police, momentarily distracted from more urgent matters for a rather silly reason, thank you for your understanding.
❤️🔥 Thanks to all of you, this edition was rich in art, culture, music, resenha and connection, far beyond “just” dancing.
It will stay in our hearts for a long time.
See you next year! 🤗
