Palazzo Brielli Castiglione, situato sulla Via Francigena nel cuore della Lomellina, in un paesaggio che muta a seconda delle stagioni, coniuga il fascino di una dimora storica con la semplicità e l’eleganza. L’edificio, tutelato dal Ministero dei Beni Culturali per l’interesse storico artistico particolarmente importante, risale al Seicento. Il recente restauro ha restituito al Palazzo Brielli Castiglione l’antico fascino e prestigio, valorizzandone la struttura attraverso la sobrietà e l’accurato recupero dei materiali. E’ un luogo magico dove trascorrere i momenti più importanti della vita rendendoli indimenticabili. Un secolare tasso ad alto fusto protegge l’accogliente giardino, che presenta una magnifica scenografia: l’acqua cristallina dell’imponente fontana a più cadute zampilla dalla bocca di un fauno marmoreo seicentesco. Completano questa cornice il pozzo medioevale in pietra granitica, il porticato con volte e mattoni a vista ed il loggiato. Durante la bella stagione la suggestiva area cortilizia può essere luogo ideale per buffet e pranzi all’aperto. Gli ambienti, destinati un tempo alle scuderie ed alla filanda, caratterizzati da volte e da ampie vetrate ad arco, ospitano, in un’atmosfera raffinata, sale per manifestazioni culturali, ricevimenti o ricercati meeting aziendali. Il restauro dei pavimenti in cotto ha portato alla definizione di ambienti sobri ed eleganti che disegnano le sale dotate di impianto di riscaldamento e condizionamento. Tutto ciò ci regala il sapore e le sensazioni di un’epoca che non sembra passata, ma che anzi ancora ci invita a gustare le emozioni avvolte in quel periodo storico. Palazzo Brielli Castiglione, placed on the Via Francigena in the heart of Lomellina, in a scenery that changes according to seasons, conjugates the fascination of an historical residence with the simplicity and the elegance. The building, protected by the Minister of Cultural Heritage for historical, artistic interest particularly important, dates back to 600. The recent restoration has returned to Palazzo Brielli Castiglione the ancient fascination and prestige, enhancing the structure through the sobriety and the accurate recovery of the materials. It’s a magic place where to spend the most important moments of the life making them unforgettable. A secular yew at high trunk protect the welcoming garden, that presents a magnificent scenography: the cristalline water of the imposing fountain at more falls spurts from the mouth of a seventeenth century marble faun. This frame is completed by the medieval well in granitic stone, the portico with vaults and at sight bricks and the lodge. During the nice season the suggestive courtyard area can be the ideal place for buffets and lunches in the open air. The environments, assigned one time to stables and to the spinning-mill, characterized by vaults and by ample arch glass windows, host, in a refined atmosphere, room for cultural shows, parties or fancy company meetings. The renovation of floors in terracotta has led to the definition of envinroments sober and elegant that delineate the rooms equipped of heating and air conditioning. All that gives the taste and the sensation of a period that doesn’t seem passed, but that rather again invite us to taste the emotions wrapped in that historic period.
