Yes, the replies are sometimes slow.
There. I said it. 😅
If you’re planning a wedding in Italy, you may sometimes wait a week for an answer from your planner.
And yes, I understand how frustrating that can be.
You ask a question because you need to make a decision. You’re planning from another country, trying to keep everything moving — and then… silence.
But often, this is what’s happening behind the scenes:
Your planner is waiting for an answer from a florist, caterer, venue, musician, hair & makeup artist or transport company...
It’s not necessarily because Italians are slow or inefficient.
Most wedding professionals are juggling two worlds at once: working on weddings and events, while also answering emails, preparing quotes, checking availability and solving problems behind a screen.
“Why don’t you just hire more people?”
That’s a whole different conversation. 😅
And there’s another reason why some answers take time:
Your wedding is not a template.
Your venue, guests, timeline, budget and expectations are unique. Sometimes we need to check, chase, double-check and think before giving you an answer that is actually useful.
That’s where our role becomes essential.
We are the bridge between you and the Italian wedding industry — protecting your interests, managing expectations and making sure what you’re told is realistic and aligned with what you actually want.
So yes, sometimes you have to wait.
But behind that slow reply there are calls you never hear, suppliers being chased, problems solved and hundreds of small decisions being made.
Because the goal isn’t to reply fastest.
It’s for you to arrive at your wedding day feeling calm and taken care of.
