This is what I mean when I say, I’ve got you ❤️

There is so much that happens behind the scenes of a wedding that I hope my couples never even know about.

The little problems. The last-minute changes. The things that don't quite go to plan.

My job is to deal with them, keep everything moving and make sure that while all of that is happening, my couples are exactly where they should be, enjoying every second of it.

So reading Emily’s review and seeing the words “Cheryl put out the fires before I even had time to panic” made me smile, but it was her saying that I understood her vision and brought it to life exactly as she had imagined that really got me.

Four days in Tuscany with Emily & Cole that I’ll never forget. ❤️

The brief from our bride?

Curved tables and peach tones.

The design is one of my favourite parts of the planning process, taking those first ideas and seeing where they can go.

We shared the vision with our florists Flairconcept Flowers inspiration who got creative and came back to us with several different designs, playing with colour, texture, florals and how everything would work with the setting.

Because sometimes the best thing you can do is share your ideas, explain how you want the wedding to feel and then give your creative team the space to create.

The result?

Flowing curved tables against the white Masseria, warm terracotta and peach tones, delicate florals, fruit incorporated into the design, candlelight, touches of gold and the most subtle lace.

The original idea was there from the beginning.But seeing what our talented florists did with it? That’s where the magic happened.

Some weddings ask a little more of me than planning and for this one, I had the enormous honour of being asked by my Augustine and Torrence to officiate their ceremony.

Standing there with them, surrounded by everyone they love, in a ceremony we had created together, is a moment I’ll never forget.

For the ceremony, we chose an organic floral look designed to complement the olive grove garden, abundant hydrangeas, roses, soft greenery and subtle touches of colour that felt completely at home amongst the trees.

Nothing too structured. Nothing competing with the beauty already around us. Just florals that felt as though they belonged there.

There are moments in this job that stay with you long after the wedding is over. Being asked to marry these two will always be one of mine. 🤍

This is how you start a wedding weekend in Puglia!

A cocktail bar, dinner straight from the BBQ, a DJ and, as the evening went on, dancing on the sand!

For Leah & Rawad, we wanted their welcome evening to feel relaxed and effortless, but still beautifully thought out, somewhere their guests could arrive, switch off and realise the wedding weekend had officially begun.

Still taking in this beautiful week in Tuscany for Emily & Cole's wedding celebration.

There’s something incredibly special about watching months of planning finally come to life, the people, the atmosphere, the table filled and ready for everyone you love, and those quiet little moments in between it all.

From dinner under the Tuscan sky to wandering through the olive groves, it was everything an Italian wedding should feel like , warm, relaxed, full of love and completely unforgettable.
