We are incredibly honoured to share that this image from Alexa & Donovan’s Venice elopement has been selected as one of the 2026 Best of the Best Destination Photos by Junebug Weddings ❤️

This photograph was taken early in the morning, during one of those rare moments when Venice still belongs to itself.

Anyone who has visited the city knows how busy it can become. But before sunrise, Venice reveals a different side - quiet canals, empty bridges, soft light on the water, and a sense of stillness that feels almost impossible in one of the world’s most visited destinations.

For us, this image is about exactly that feeling. Two people alone in Venice, experiencing a side of the city that most visitors never get to see.
