Durante la cerimonia civile si formalizza anche questa decisione.

La scelta della comunione o separazione dei beni viene spesso presa con leggerezza a volte senza neppure essersi confrontati con il commercialista.

Eppure le conseguenze pratiche sono importanti.

In comunione dei beni tutto quello che acquistate insieme dopo il matrimonio appartiene ad entrambi al 50%.
In separazione dei beni ogni coniuge e' proprietario esclusivo di quello che acquista a suo nome.

L'unico modo per cambiare la scelta dopo il matrimonio e' un atto notarile.

Vale la pena parlarne con un commercialista prima del grande giorno - non e' romantico, ma e' intelligente. 😉

The choice between joint and separate property is often made lightly, sometimes without even consulting an accountant.

Yet the practical consequences are significant.

With joint property, everything you buy together after marriage belongs to both of you 50/50.

With separate property, each spouse owns exclusively what they purchase in their own name.

The only way to change this choice after marriage is through a notarial deed.
It's worth talking to an accountant before the big day - not romantic, but smart. 😉

Note: this applies to the Italian legal system. If you are getting married in another country, the rules may differ - always check with a local professional.

Nel 2016 la Legge Cirinnà ha dato per la prima volta un quadro giuridico alle Unioni Civili in Italia.

Da quel momento anche le coppie dello stesso sesso hanno potuto dire il loro si lo voglio con pieno valore legale.

Gli articoli che si leggono durante un'Unione Civile parlano di assistenza morale e materiale, di coabitazione, di costruire insieme un progetto di vita. Le stesse fondamenta di ogni unione autentica.

Ma questi articoli non sono sempre stati quelli che conosciamo oggi.

L'articolo 143 parlava dei doveri del marito.
Il 144 stabiliva che il marito è il capo della famiglia.
Il 147 citava il sentimento nazionale fascista.

Stessi numeri. Ottant'anni di distanza. Un mondo completamente diverso.

Quante volte hai immaginato la tua cerimonia senza sapere esattamente cosa succede durante un rito civile?
La cerimonia civile si divide in due parti distinte.

Durante il giro per la tenuta non possiamo non passare in Cattedrale.
Ci arriviamo dopo aver immaginato gli opsiti in attesa nell’area di accoglienza, la coordinatrice che mette le bottoniere allo sposo ed ai testimoni ed infine la chiamata che invita gli ospiti ad entrare.
E poi? Te la facciamo vivere come non mai.
E resistere alle lacrime sarà davvero difficile.
Non è scenografia. È emozione pura.

We arrive there after imagining the guests waiting in the welcome area, the coordinator pinning the buttonholes on the groom and the witnesses, and finally the call that invites everyone to take their seats.
