Forget film markets. There is only one market we look forward to on Wednesday morning, and it’s the one in S.Caterina.
It’s a routine, to meet friends, support local businesses, buy fresh locally sourced products, check on the kittens if they are growing fine and in between an espresso, a panoramic view and few “chiacchiere” (chats) time flies.

How spoiled were we at Agriturismo | Guardavalle | Stilo | Calabria | Italy?! 🤍
Breakfasts were so delicious that we couldn’t wait to start the day, try some of Nonna Vittoria’s new cakes, and get to work full of energy!

Ciambelle, orange cakes, peach cakes, gluten free cakes, brioches, bruschette, olives, salads, frittate and much more! + Limonata always on the table.
This was just breakfast 🤣

This is definitely food that fed our souls 🙏 thank you for this work of art ♥️ nonna, Pasquale, Lorenzo, maria Carmela and the whole team at villa vittoria

The duality of our soul comes out in every event. Moving from time for ourselves to the time shared with the community, they are both two essential and vital parts of our identity, our community, our experiences and one cannot live without the other.

As the energy goes in, the energy goes out to the world. Inward > outward > inward > outward on repeat

It’s Friday.
The week is almost over. Or not.

In the busyness of our days, when was the last time you gave real attention to the project, idea, or dream that truly matters to you?

How many things are sitting in a drawer because we keep telling ourselves: “I don’t have time” or “it’s not the right moment yet”?

As a procrastinator myself, I’m often pushed by Frank to stop waiting for the perfect moment. To just begin and see where it takes you, ideas don’t need to be perfect before you start. So following that advise, we created a special Sunday creative ritual to challenge ourselves, our creativity, to find the uninterrupted time for that project that was waiting for us for way too long.

The formula is simple:
- On Sunday morning
- Find one project you have been postponing.
- Choose one hour and set the timer
- Protect it and make sure:
No phone +No distractions.
- And start creating with us.

This Sunday we will start at 9am - CEST but you can do it whenever you want, but share the journey with us and always keep it for Sunday morning otherwise it won’t be a ritual!!

So, Sunday morning —> Qui-et ora

Let’s make space for what matters.

The knowledge we gain from these masterclasses reaches far beyond technique.
It goes so deep that it stays with us long after the retreat ends and so we cannot not share them with you! These notes about never forgetting our body and its needs, to have confidence and belief in what we are doing and keep observing cause observation and awareness are our biggest allies in the creative process.
Thanks to Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad for sharing their wisdom and for opening their world to us. Will share more notes soon!

July we have been quieter than usual. We took time to do what we preach: sit and think before we create. But also, it was a time to remember to stay grounded to the simplest of things. So, we want to share some of the memories of this July.
To remind us to stay grounded. Our business, our projects, are not the whole world. There is a world out there, with people, animals, full of emotions, launghted, stories to be told. And it was beautiful to embrace it as a warm comforting hug.
From chef zio Salvatore cooking for us using only products from his garden, to francy’s crazy Milanese family coming to calabria for the first time (yes, we collected enough material for a movie), to working on the calendar for 2027, to frank saving another cat “Batman”and not being able to give him up for adoption, to the beautiful sunsets that this universe is giving us everyday (and yet not giving them for granted). thank you July and all the people that made it special, for bringing us back on planet Earth after being so absorbed and consumed by our minds ♥️
