Don’t Spend a Summer Without Music: Ticket Sales Open for the 2026 Festival Musicale delle Nazioni in Rome
ROME — The Eternal City is preparing for another extraordinary musical season as Concerti del Tempietto officially announces the opening of ticket sales for the 2026 edition of the Festival Musicale delle Nazioni, taking place from June 26 through September 27, 2026.
Under the motto “Don’t spend a summer without music,” the festival invites Roman residents, international visitors, and music lovers from around the world to reserve their seats now for one of the most anticipated cultural events of Rome’s summer season.
A Summer of Great Music in the Heart of Rome
Performances will be held primarily at the historic Chiostro di Campitelli al Teatro di Marcello – Sala Baldini, with additional events hosted at the Church of Santa Maria in Campitelli and the Basilica of San Nicola in Carcere.
Each evening will feature:
concerts ranging from classical and opera to jazz, world music, and film scores;
guided tours of the archaeological area surrounding the Teatro di Marcello and the historic Rione Campitelli district (reserved for ticket holders);
the opportunity to continue the evening with aperitifs, cocktails, or dinner in the historic center of Rome.
Highlights of the 2026 Program
The festival will welcome internationally acclaimed artists, emerging talents, and prize-winning musicians from major international competitions.
Among the season’s highlights:
June 26 — Opening concert featuring soprano MK Marija Tashevska and pianist Anastasija Kocheva performing works by Puccini, Verdi, and Rossini; followed by pianist Adam Adov with music by Beethoven, Balakirev, and Liszt.
June 28 — Piano duo Katerina Gelebesheva Kostadinovska and Gligor Gelebeshev performing Debussy, Khachaturian, and Rossini; alongside the Quartetto Cino Ghedin with works by Schumann and Brahms.
July 5 — Soprano Ida Notarnicola presents From the Queen of the Night to the Diva of the Future, a virtuosic journey from Mozart to The Fifth Element.
July 19 — Piano recital by Fabio Di Gennaro featuring works by Beethoven, Medtner, Prokofiev, and Liszt.
August 15 — Traditional Ferragosto Concert with pianist Emanuele Frenzilli performing Chopin, Liszt, and the celebrated Bach-Busoni Chaconne.
September 25–27 — Closing weekend featuring the New Choir Ensemble conducted by F. P. Musto, performing works by Mozart, Verdi, and Bach’s Magnificat, in addition to a concert by violinist Misia Sophia Jannoni Sebastianini.
The program also includes special concerts between October 2025 and April 2026 dedicated to Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter celebrations, as well as masterclasses with internationally renowned artists such as guitarist M° Benjamin Lahring and pianist M° Vincenzo Balzani.
