Deepening International Cultural Exchanges Between Italy and China Through Photography:
Palatina Cultural Group and China Photo Press Sign Strategic Partnership
BEIJING, 17 June – Palatina Cultural Group has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Photo Press. The partnership, formalised in Beijing, aims to foster mutual understanding and cultural heritage cooperation between Italy and China through the medium of photography.
The two organisations will collaborate comprehensively across five key areas: international photography exhibitions, academic interconnectivity, comprehensive media outreach, cultural heritage tourism promotion, and joint intellectual property development. This approach will establish a premium Sino-Italian cooperation platform for photographic culture.
Photography serves as a borderless visual language and an exceptional medium for cross-cultural communication. By integrating official European art and media resources, Palatina aims to help European audiences deeply understand China's natural and cultural heritage, strengthening the foundation of friendship between the two regions.
This agreement builds on a highly successful track record. Previously, Palatina Cultural Group and China Photography News, a subsidiary of China Photo Press, launched three major transnational photography dialogue projects focusing on World Heritage sites in Zhangjiajie, Yixian County, and Xinjiang. These initiatives successfully created a benchmark for Sino-European photographic and tourism exchange.
Moving forward, Palatina Cultural Group and China Photo Press will establish regular cultural dialogues. Together, they will use photography as a bridge to continually enrich Sino-European cultural synergy.
