Another year is about to end.
It’s the 6th since I started this journey with cooking classes.

It has been a challenging year, full of hard work, but also great satisfaction and unforgettable experiences.

We started the year by redefining who we are: a new logo, a new brand identity.
From the beginning of 2024, I worked hard to build a team — and today, finally, we have one.

It’s no longer just about Riccardo.
From this past year on, we truly became Rome Cooking Club.

Together with William, Leo (Victor and Bruno behind the scenes), we are a team.

I love the word Club.
It means being part of a group of people who share the same passion, the same values, and the same vision.

Another big project of the year was the creation of a brand-new cooking experience: our Pizza Making Class.
Seeing our guests making pizza at grandma’s house, discovering the craft behind every step — from the risen dough to the crunchy pizza circle — has been pure joy.

And last, but definitely not least, the hardest mission of the year: launching our first video course.
A long, intense journey… but we made it 💪

2026, I’m ready to see what you have in store for us.
I hope to keep doing what makes me happy, surrounded by wonderful people.

In the last few years we are celebrating Christmas Eve at Marta’s parents and Christmas Day at my brother new house.
This year I didn’t cook much… 😅 they all didn’t involve me though (which it was a bit weird and sad, but I accepted 😂)
On the 24th we always eat a fish/seafood menu - we start with a lot of appetizers (we can even stop eating after that) but then we continue with the classic spaghetti with clams and a light portion of grilled shrimp.
To conclude with the desserts, unmissable at Marta’s house. Her father always buys the most awarded panettone of the year! We love panettone 😋😋
On the 25th instead we go light with the appetizers (sometime we even skip them) to eat big first course and second course, which is my grandma specialty - “cappone” a big chicken (fattier, tastier and more tender meat).
Here too we can’t miss the desserts (which are always too many 😅)

Fresh pasta dough
100 g 00 flour
100 g semolina flour
2 whole eggs

Rich Christmas filling
100 g pork tenderloin
100 g mortadella
100 g prosciutto crudo
100 g grated Parmigiano Reggiano
1 egg yolk
A touch of nutmeg

Creamy holiday sauce
200 ml fresh cream
100 g Parmigiano Reggiano
Black pepper and nutmeg, to taste

Simple ingredients, deep flavors, real tradition.
Because Christmas tastes better when it’s homemade.
