This image encapsulates so much for me - a candid moment rich with layers of meaning.

My 2025 bride, Jessica, is pictured here getting ready in her custom separates wedding dress. The culmination of a months-long process of exploration, understanding, and coming to know—not just the design, but herself within it.

Helping her is my 2024 bride, Noemi, wearing her own Larimeloom gown, now transformed for this special occasion:
A soft mossy green, fading from a pale upper portion into a deeper shade below. A shorter hem, custom cap sleeves - thoroughly reimagined, still full of memory, layering yet more stories into the stitches.

The color chosen for Noemi’s dress harmonizes beautifully with Jessica’s painted second skirt, seen hanging on the door, waiting quietly for a night of dancing.

A moment of continuity, friendship, and artistry—woven into fabric and time.

One of my favorite details: silk ribbons, wrapped around the stems of the bouquet.
I make these often, for brides that have a color in their dress, and also for brides that have chosen a white or ivory gown, but want an accent nonetheless.

Just choose the tone of color (they can also be white or ivory!), choose how many and then give them to your flower designer, they will know exactly what to do with them!

Un dettaglio che amo: i nastri in seta per il bouquet, abbinati all’abito e ai suoi colori.

Li realizzo sovente, sia per spose che hanno scelto di avere del colore nell’abito, che per spose che hanno un abito bianco o avorio: è un modo bellissimo per poter inserire un colore, senza che esso debba essere effettivamente sull’abito stesso.

The bodice and the skirt are two separate pieces, designed this way so that she could have the skirt transformed to be reused. This June her maid of honor is getting married so she is going to send the skirt back to be dyed a soft grey color, and shortened.

I love how symbolic, circular, sustainable this part of the process is, I can’t wait to see how it comes out!

“Behind the matrimonial curtain”

Sabato 27 aprile, dalle 15.00 alle 19.00, in occasione della nostra adesione al di , apriremo le porte del nostro laboratorio per mostrarti dal vivo alle quinte del nostro lavoro artigianale.

Ti porteremo in un viaggio che percorre e attraversa tutte le tappe di un abito su misura, dalla sua ideazione alla realizzazione passo dopo passo. Potrai vedere e toccare i tessuti, scoprire i colori, gli strumenti e le lavorazioni che compiamo quotidianamente nel nostro atelier.

Dopo le centinaia di visite che abbiamo ricuvuto durante il week end di abbiamo creato una nuova occasione nella quale scoprire il dietro le quinte del nostro laboratorio artigianale.

Abbiamo pernsato a qusto pomeriggio di festa in occasione del weekend inaugurale di , festival internazionale di fotografia che porta a Reggio Emilia l’eposizione di decine di mostre con fotografi da tutta europa.

Anche noi aderiamo per il primo anno al circuito OFF di Fotografia Europea 2024 accogliendo nel nostro showroom la mostra dell’irriverente fotografo inglese .

Sabato pomeriggio inaugureremo la sua mostra “Behind the Matrimonial Curtain” allestita nel nostro atelier con la collaborazione di . La mostra rimarrà visitabile fino al mese di giugno.

Dalle 15:00 ti accoglieremo per vedere gli irriverenti scatti di Ian e immergerti a 360° nel nostro mondo fatto di manichini, tessuti, abiti, colori, trasparenze.

A sweet cap sleeved lace top, made with a delicate floral Chantilly lace with a pattern of soft flowery branches draping softly over a tulle base.

It has a wide scalloped edge running around the bottom edge, making it perfect to be worn over simple smooth wedding dresses, without the need of an additional sash. It fits close to the body and closes with an invisible zipper up the left side.

The neckline and sleeves are trimmed with a cotton lace ribbon in ivory, finishing the edges and adding durability.

Perfecting the color tones of a gown, even when the resulting dress will appear to be a monocrome ivory or white, is something we do with very careful attention.

It is usually one of the first steps we tackle in approaching a project, and an ongoing dialogue during the whole construction process.

Each design usually blends 3 to 5 different fabrics in the skirt layers, 1 to 3 fabrics in the bodice… they all must be in reciprocal dialogue and harmony, for the garment to feel cohesive and balanced.

Una occasione unica per conoscerci più da vicino, in modo un po’ diverso dal solito, esplorando in prima persona gli spazi dove la stoffa si tramuta in abito, dove la visione che nasce nella mente come cruda idea prende forma e identità fisica.
Ti spiegheremo le diverse fasi di lavorazione, avrai modo di vederci all’opera, potrai addentrarti un po’ di più in quel mondo magico e riservato che è l’atelier di sartoria su misura, fatto di movimenti precisi, di gesti istintivi, di sfide, di intuizioni.

A gown that speaks of air, light, sun, fruity tangy flavors. Deceitfully simple in its bias-draped flow of fabric, it holds together organically blended details that catch the eye from every angle.
The top layer is crushed organza, light as air, with a texture that resembles dry leaves. Under it, tea-dyed organza in tones of warm ivory, with juicy red pigment staining the bottom in fruity fuchsia, blush, with drops of golden yellow pulling the whole thing together.

The deep V back opens in to floaty wings, which can be tamed by simply changing the way the tea stained beaded sash in worn.
