Just another (not so) normal day in LetzFair.

The summer heat is certainly putting us to the test, but we are not backing down!

At most, we might just take a day out together to cool off in the pool and enjoy a round of golf—with varying degrees of success.

Even during this busy period, where there is no shortage of hard work and effort, we still want to make time to come together as a team. Because despite our differences, busy schedules (and varying degrees of suntans), we remain united in our commitment to just being together and enjoying each other's company.

Firstly, a massive thank you to ICCAWorld and the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau for hosting a flawless and welcoming Annual Chapter Meeting.
A special shout-out to Dimitris Ganitis and Lina Ostapchuk for their incredible leadership during these days. You made us feel part of a forward-thinking, united community! ❤️

Returning from Greece, we brought home a series of key takeaways that are fundamental to understanding the direction of the international association market: competitiveness requires radical collaboration.

A few thoughts from the event:

🇪🇺 the European challenge: the EU holds over 50% of international conferences, but destinations must actively cooperate to stay competitive.
🧠 knowledge economy: events are no longer just about tourism revenue, but about leaving a long-term legacy of knowledge and regional development.
📈 the data visibility gap: understanding the modern MICE ecosystem must go through smart, clear data. Communicating the real impact of events to governments remains a crucial challenge.

We are back from the UFI European Conference 2026!
And it was sooooooo inspiring.

Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry for putting together such an outstanding and flawless event, and to IZFAS - Izmir Fair for hosting us in a super-performing, modern, and welcoming venue.

What made these days truly special, though, was the people: a special shout-out to Nick Dugdale-Moore for the perfect organisation, and to Ana Maria Arango from UFI for being incredibly helpful, professional, and always available. You made us feel at home! ❤️

Beyond the networking, we return with a clear vision of where our industry is moving.
What did struck us the most?

🔵 The industry blueprint: brilliant presentations by jwc mapping out exactly where the global exhibition market is headed;
🟢 Green transformation: a top-tier sustainability workshop that honestly addressed current challenges while presenting real, concrete solutions for the future of events.
🔴 The rise of ROO. It’s official: ROO (Return on Objective) is gaining massive attention. The focus is shifting toward reputation, curated experiences, and high-value interactions - and this confirms that LetzFair’s direction is right on track: we don't just provide a platform, we help create living, high-reputation ecosystems.
