Antonio and Amayra, two souls, two beautiful people, two continents that met in London. Two very serious people by day and two quite crazy hearts at night. They brought people from South America and the British Islands to celebrate their wedding in Sardinia, Antonio's homeland. A wedding ceremony on the beach, a dinner by the pool and the "ora loca" with the DJ that felt like a carnival night. An explosion of rainbow colours and fireworks...
They made us laugh with their wedding invitation video (yes, we do remember) and they made us cry when reading their vows to each other.

What are the advantages of a May wedding in Sardinia? There are a few:
— The weather, though it may be changeable, is warm, rather than unbearably hot, like it happens in the month of August and the days are quite long (it gets dark around 8 pm), so having a beach ceremony in the early afternoon or an aperitif before the sunset is doable ☀️ 😎 🌅
—While everything is already open and operating, the island isn't packed with tourists yet, so moving around and making the most of your Sardinian wedcation isn't as challenging as it may be in the high season 🍝🚗🏄🏽
— Empty beaches, lavish green bushes and meadows, the Mediterranean maque in bloom - it all creates a beautiful backdrop not just on your wedding day, but throughout your whole stay

On May 17th, the International Day Against Homophobia, we stand with all LGBT couples around the world who still face barriers to their love. Too many are forced to keep their joy behind closed doors, too many still fear judgment for simply being themselves.

In our many years of organizing weddings, we have had the honor of working with same-sex couples, celebrating their love and commitment. Yet, heartbreakingly, too many of them have asked us not to share their wedding photos—out of fear that being recognized could lead to discrimination. Love should never have to be hidden, and no couple should feel that their happiness must stay out of sight.

At Wedding Sardinia by Frinaeventi we believe every couple deserves a wedding that reflects their love in all its beauty and authenticity—without fear, without compromise.
