Caterina and Fortunato wedding: from our very first phone calls, I knew this would be a beautiful, intense, and above all generative journey. The kind where you don’t just plan a wedding, but build something together. ✨
Caterina and Fortunato live in Turin, but their story began much further away, in Calabria. Their paths crossed, separated, and then brought them back together a second time, this time, for good. Then came the proposal, during a trip to New York.
Over months of planning, I became the repository of their memories and family details. For me, that’s where the real work begins: when stories become an integral part of the design, not just background noise.
When the wedding day arrived in late August, the weather tested us with rain and sudden clouds. We pivoted to Plan B, and it was absolute magic. Different, of course, but just as beautiful and faithful to what we had envisioned. Because a great project isn’t one that only works when everything is perfect; it’s one that transforms gracefully when conditions change.
What makes me happiest today is what remained after that day.
I carry with me their lifelong friendship, a special bond with Giacomo, and the incredible joy of being contacted by guests who attended their wedding—couples who felt so cared for that day that they want the same experience for their own.
In the end, I don’t just collect photographs or successful events. I collect relationships, trust, and new stories born from the ones I’ve been fortunate enough to accompany.
