Quando un padre ti dice grazie, lo senti in un posto diverso.
Non è il riconoscimento professionale — quello conta, ma non è quello. È sapere che ha visto. Che ha osservato da vicino come hai tenuto insieme le cose, come hai pensato alle persone, come hai voluto bene a quella giornata prima ancora che cominciasse.
Ha ironizzato sulla mia precisione. Lo so, sono colpevole. Ma la precisione, nel mio lavoro, non è mai un fine — è la forma che prende la cura quando vuole rendersi invisibile, lasciare spazio a tutto il resto.
Quello che spero di aver consegnato, alla fine, non è un matrimonio perfetto. È una giornata in cui ognuno si è sentito visto, accolto, libero di essere presente.
È questo che intendo quando parlo di Wedding Celebrations.

When a father thanks you, you feel it somewhere deeper.
It’s not the professional recognition — that matters, but it’s not that. It’s knowing he saw. That he watched, up close, how you held everything together, how you thought of the people, how you loved that day before it even began.
He teased me about my precision. Guilty as charged. But precision, in my work, is never an end in itself — it’s the shape that care takes when it wants to stay invisible, when it wants to leave room for everything else.
What I hope I gave them, in the end, isn’t a perfect wedding. It’s a day where every single person felt seen, welcomed, free to simply be there.
That’s what I mean by Wedding Celebrations.
