C'è un tempo negato e uno segreto
Un tempo distante che è roba degli altri.
C'è un tempo perfetto per fare silenzio.
E noi lo siamo stati, in silenzio, ad aspettare, per più di un anno, ma è arrivato il “tempo” di comunicare che la sesta edizione del Perugia Social Photo Fest non verrà organizzata, né quest’anno, né il prossimo.
Non parleremo dei motivi dietro a questa scelta, che sono da rintracciare nelle infinite pieghe del fare cultura in Italia. Non è il tempo delle denunce sterili e inutili.
È il tempo di dire quello che dal 2012 abbiamo fatto.
Abbiamo creato un festival unico a livello nazionale e internazionale ottenendo riconoscimenti straordinari.
Siamo stati promotori e precursori di un cambiamento culturale, etico e sociale della fotografia.
Abbiamo reso la fototerapia e la fotografia terapeutica un concetto non più astratto, ma un linguaggio comune e riconosciuto.
Abbiamo creato importanti progetti con una ricaduta su tutto il territorio nazionale ed europeo.
Abbiamo promosso la fotografia in Umbria e abbiamo reso Perugia un luogo di incontri e scambi tra professionisti del settore provenienti da tutto il mondo.
È il tempo di riassumere i numeri di queste indimenticabili edizioni:

➡️ 586 progetti ricevuti per un totale di 11.000 fotografie
➡️ 33 workshops

➡️ Oltre 300 testate giornalistiche che hanno parlato di noi
È tempo di proseguire quell’agire culturale e sociale in cui crediamo da molti anni. È tempo che la forma superi se stessa e inizi quel processo vitale di trasformazione.
Dicono che c'è un tempo per seminare
E uno più lungo per aspettare
Noi diciamo che c'era un tempo sognato
Che bisognava sognare.

There is a time denied and one secret
A distant time that is the stuff of others.
There is perfect time for silence.
And we have been, in silence, waiting for more than a year, but the "time" has come to communicate that the sixth edition of the Perugia Social Photo Fest will not be organized, neither this year, nor the next.
We will not talk about the reasons behind this choice, which are to be found in the endless folds of doing culture in Italy. It is not the time for sterile and useless complaints.
It is time to say what we have done since 2012.
We have created a unique festival at national and international level, obtaining extraordinary awards.
We have been promoters and precursors of a cultural, ethical and social change in photography.
We have made phototherapy and therapeutic photography a concept that is no longer abstract, but a common and recognized language.
We have created important projects with an impact overall national and European territory.
We have promoted photography in Umbria, and we have made Perugia a place for meetings and exchanges between professionals from all over the world.
It's time to summarize the numbers of these unforgettable editions:
