Away from the guests and the excitement of the day, it gives the couple a few minutes to simply be together, see each other for the first time and take it all in.

For this couple, Villa Monastero was the perfect setting for such a special moment. A beautiful place, just the two of them and all the emotions before the ceremony began.

Set on the terrace of Una Finestra sul Lago, the evening brought together guests, Italian charm and a celebration filled with character.

Sicilian-inspired green and white majolica patterns set the scene, while market-style buffets overflowed with green grapes, yellow peppers, and freshly cut white flowers.

And then came the pasta show... freshly prepared right before the guests’ eyes, turning dinner into an authentic Italian experience.

But the unexpected highlight? Performers in extravagant lampshade headpieces, wandering among the tables and transforming the evening into a moving work of art.

A ceremony setup designed to make the most of the location.

At Villa Lario Resort, we created a circular layout with the guests surrounding the couple, instead of the classic straight rows of chairs. From above, the setup creates a unique shape on the lawn, while keeping everyone close to the ceremony.

Clear chairs, a low floral installation, a central platform and a path covered with petals complete the look, with Lake Como as the natural backdrop.

A simple setup, but with a strong visual impact.

When two tables tell two different stories.

For the guests, we chose an elegant all-white setting with subtle black details… timeless, clean and sophisticated.

For the newlyweds, we wanted something more unexpected: soft green draping, white flowers and candlelight, creating a table that felt intimate and completely their own.

Same wedding, same venue, two different moods. And we love how the contrast makes the couple’s table stand out.
