BREAKING. : *Tension Grips Ekpoma as Suspected
Kidnapping Syndicate is Uncovered*
Panic swept through Ekpoma, Edo State in the early hours of this morning after security operatives reportedly apprehended suspected kidnappers in Ihumudumu, along Gideon Street.
According to reports, the suspects, believed to be Fulani men, were arrested while attempting to make a purchase in the area. Upon interrogation and preliminary investigation, security personnel allegedly discovered links connecting them to several kidnapping incidents that have recently plagued Ekpoma and its environs.
*In a dramatic twist, further investigations reportedly pointed to a local medication seller (chemist shop operator) as one of the alleged masterminds behind the kidnapping network.*
*Security operatives subsequently stormed the chemist shop, forcing it open during a search operation. Inside, they reportedly recovered several motorcycles and a large sum of cash. Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed that the money seized was so substantial that it filled two vehicles. Three AK-47 rifles and a quantity of ammunition were also reportedly recovered during the operation.*
Police authorities have arrested all individuals allegedly connected to the case, while investigations continue to uncover the full extent of the syndicate’s activities.
