I REMEMBER going to hear you play at the Club Space patio in Miami one morning. The sun was out, and as I was standing behind you in the DJ booth, you dropped “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana and did this incredible loop and filter trick… then mixed a dope-ass tech house track into it, as the crowd went fu***ng nuts!

You turned around and smiled at me as I bowed down to you, saying, “We’re not worthy, we’re not worthy!”

I was so proud of you, Erick — you were on top of the world, a true legend and a master of your craft.

There hasn’t been a mo********er on planet Earth who’s been able to fill your shoes‼️
I may just have to remind them of who you were and how you changed the game.
