Awards-winning Iron Chef Michael Bao Huynh is one of the most illustrious and creative Vietnamese-American chefs and the country’s top culinary Ambassador. His distinctive and profound expertise of his inherent cooking enables him to open a notable number of exceptional restaurants.

He first introduced the fusion culinary style, a style that requires understanding of different culinary cultures around the world, to the people of New York City. In 2003, Michael Bao Huynh was voted “Best Chef in New York” by New York Magazine. His dishes have become the favorites of many celebrities and heads of State: Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger, Helmut Kolt, Usher, Rachel Weisz, Michael Bloomberg…

In 2002, Michael Bao Huynh opened Bao 111, his first restaurant in the US and later returned to Vietnam. Today he collaborates at many 5 Stars hotels in Vietnam by creating delicate and highly customized menus for his elite clientele.

In 2007 he won the award for Best New Restaurant (Mai House) by The New York Times and the Best New Asian Restaurant by Time Out New York; in 2011 and 2012 the Michelin Bib Award (OBAO NYC). He awarded a Michelin star ⭐ for Silk at Cocoon Club, Frankfurt, Germany, won Vietnam in 2013, participated in the same program as superchef and in as a guest judge.

The Executive Chef has built his career in various internationally renowned restaurants in Amsterdam, where he developed his passion for top gastronomy and patisserie.

He places great emphasis on flavours and aromas that are linked to memories, giving his dishes an emotional depth.

With worldly flavours and inspiration from his travels, he creates unique culinary experiences that reflect the seasons.

Tim loves to share his love of cooking with others, both in his Bougainville - 1 Michelin star - in TwentySeven Hotel and during worldwide culinary events. His enthusiasm and creativity make him an inspiring figure in the culinary world, recently confirmed by the 2 knives in The Best Chef Awards 2025.

Another of the five 3-starred chefs of this fantastic event, another authentic lord of the kitchen: Chef Voisin Thierry! ❤

A professional with great experience: he has been working in the kitchen since he was 15. In 1982 he joined the brigade of Chateau d’Artigny (2 Michelin Stars) and from then on it comes to frequent the most important and refined restaurants of native France.
In 1988 he joined Boyer Les Crayeres, becoming its chef and contributing to maintain the 3 Michelin Stars for nine years ⭐⭐⭐

He then decided to join the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, where he is still Chef de Cuisine at Les Saisons Restaurant since 2005, obtaining a much appreciated Michelin star.

His cuisine, attentive to the great quality of the ingredients and the refinement of the final result, led him to be appointed in 2011 Chevalier de l’Ordre du Métiers agricole by the French Republic 🇫🇷

A crazy, magnificent pal: Chef Jacob Jan Boerma 🇦🇹

was born in Austria and built his career in the Netherlands, gaining experience both locally and internationally. In 2002, he opened his own restaurant, DeLeest*** in Vaassen, where he achieved his dream of earning three Michelin stars.

After more than twenty years at the highest level, he chose to explore new horizons and express his creativity in new ways.

His cuisine is cosmopolitan, inspired by Scandinavian purity and Asian finesse. He always remains true to the natural essence of each ingredient, while a subtle touch of acidity or spice defines his signature styles refined, balanced, and unmistakably his own.

With more than 28 years of experience in Michelin-starred restaurants, Jacob Jan has continued to expand his vision internationally. He opened The White Room at the Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year*, FineFleur in Antwerp, and launched Restaurant Smaak in Japan.

He also opened two contemporary bistros in Antwerp this year - Brasserie Brioche
and Bistro De Balans with a new project in Apeldoorn set to folow soon.
In addition, he is a culinary consultant for Mori Yachting and creates unique
journeys in colaboration with Space Time Architects.

He too will make an immense contribution to our dinner, from a professional and human perspective ❤

The German master is back with us! Chef Thomas Bühner 🇩🇪

Chef Thomas Bühner was born in 1962, Germany. With a career spanning over four decades, he stands among the most distinguished figures in contemporary haute cuisine. After formative years in numerous restaurants such as Schwarzwaldstube and Jörg Müller, he took the helm at La Table in Dortmund, managing a 8-employees culinary team and earning his first two Michelin stars.

In 2006, he was general manager at La Vie in Osnabrück, a three-stars restaurant that would soon become a benchmark of modern gastronomy, awarded three Michelin stars and international acclaim for its precision, balance, and innovation.

Today, Bühner continues to shape the culinary world through his projects La Vie by Thomas Bühner 餐廳 in Taipei, in Düsseldorf and Taste by Thomas Bühner in Istanbul, as well as global consulting and guest chef collaborations.

1st Michelin Star in 1996, 2nd in 1998, 3rd in 2012: stars that will illuminate our event! ⭐⭐⭐

He's with us again... The Demon Chef 🔥 Chef Alvin Leung!

The self-proclaimed “Demon Chef” - the Chinese characters for which are tattooed on his arm – is one of only two rare self-taught chefs to achieve a 3 Michelin star status for his establishment.

Born in London, UK, Leung spent many of his formative years in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in the suburb of Scarborough, he remains a dedicated ice hockey fan. Despite his rock&roll image, Leung trained as an engineer, a discipline he exercised for many years. This methodical, scientific approach manifests in every dish he presents.
In 2003, Leung began cooking professionally at a private kitchen restaurant. That outlet eventually became Bo Innovation, with him as chef-patron: his unique “X-treme Chinese” cuisine reinvents centuries-old ingredients and traditional recipes with modern techniques and flavours. In 2009, it became one of Hong Kong’s few independent restaurants (not affiliated with a hotel) to be awarded 2 Michelin stars. In 2014, it was elevated to 3 star status. It recently confirmed 1 knife in The Best Chef 2025.

Leung also operates restaurants of various different cuisines spanning the globe like Forbidden Duck Hong Kong (classic Cantonese) and R&D Spadina (contemporary Asian). In Dubai his award winning restaurant Demon Duck Dubai (Pan Asian) is found inside the Banyan Tree Dubai Hotel.
He also operates a 1 Michelin starred classic Cantonese Restaurant The Demon Celebrity with renowned Chef Cheung Kim Fu.

He’s also a very popular TV personality, being seen as judge on Masterchef Canada, on Wok The World, The Maverick Chef, Wok Stars, Seoul Extreme, Seoul Refined and on The Maverick Academy on Netflix. In 2018, he launched his first book, Alvin Leung: My Hong Kong.

So happy to see him again! Here is Chef Deepanker Khosla! ❤

“DK”, as he is affectionately called by all, is an Indian chef based in Bangkok. He trained in Indian cities with the ITC Hotels group and has always wanted to reinterpret his culinary roots, as well as protect the ecosystem that hosts us all and grow the community that revolves around its food.

His restaurant Haoma is a real dream come true: the Thailand’s first urban farm and zero-waste restaurant in the heart of Bangkok.

🇮🇳 Its Neo Indian cuisine is the embodiment of an ethical and sustainable fine dining, full based on local ingredients. DK uses only raw materials grown locally at the restaurant or from its organic farm in Chiang Mai: vegetables, herbs and fish.

His philosophy "Grow to Give Back" has allowed him to receive many awards: Asia50best no. 90 for The World's 50 Best Restaurants, 2 Knives for The Best Chef and and above all a Michelin star and a Green Star for sustainability ⭐💚

And now we introduce the wonderful team of starred chefs for Dinner Incredible Thailand 2026; le'ts start with Chef Gerard Villaret Horcajo! 💣

Chef Gerard has transferred to Elements, Inspired by Ciel Bleu in Bangkok from Ciel Bleu, the Michelin two-star restaurant at Hotel Okura Amsterdam, where he worked alongside renowned chef Arjan Speelman.

Hailing from Spain, Chef Gerard is passionate about world gastronomy and puts his heart and soul into his cooking. As well as his native Spanish, he speaks English fluently and has basic Dutch.

Chef Gerard began his professional journey as Demi Chef de Partie at Roses Cantina Restaurant, a Mexican restaurant in Amsterdam, after working at several Spanish restaurants in Spain with organic farmers and local fishermen. Stints in other restaurant kitchens learning the culinary arts followed and culminated with his first Michelin-starred kitchen experience when he joined two-star holder Ciel Bleu as Chef de Partie in 2011.

In 2015 Gerard moved to Vendome, the renowned three-star restaurant in Bensberg, Germany. He later worked at Daalder restaurant in Amsterdam (one Michelin star) and De Librije at Zwolle in the Netherlands, another rare holder of three Michelin stars. As a chef he has continuously looked for opportunities to improve his gastronomic skills and knowledge. To this end he has also pursued internships at several of the world’s top restaurants, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, a two-star Michelin restaurant in London, UK; Azurmendi, a three-star Michelin restaurant in Basque Country, Spain and Pierre Marcolini in Brussels, Belgium.
