The Blue Design Summit continues to bring together those who read the course in advance: designers, shipyards and innovators capable of turning intuition into reality, with an essential, human-centred approach that rejects excess and focuses on purpose.

“Water is the finest thing,” Pindar once said. And the city where I was born and still live, Venice, stands as proof: without water, it would not exist.
Our own bodies are made up of 70% water. Water is the mother element of life on Earth as we know it, shaping most of the planet’s surface.
Perhaps this is why humankind feels the urge to sail, to explore, to craft vessels that dance upon the waves. Have you ever seen a gondola waltz in the lagoon?
In design, one does not simply create a boat; one crafts a dialogue with water, honouring its rhythm and harmony.
Without water, there would be no Venice. There would be no work for me. But, above all, there would be no us.
